Online Webinar

3 [T]he older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. (Titus 2:3-5 NKJV)

Rather than view God’s design as a glorious provision for women and society, modern culture denigrates biblical womanhood to the point of mockery. But the Word of God in Proverbs 31 describes a worthy woman in terms of her family responsibilities, and this biblical view will be the focus of the Titus 2 Mentoring online webinars hosted by me, Andrea Schwartz.

As the culture war rages, and mixed messages abound, many Christian women are confused and uncertain as to how they should apply a biblical worldview to the callings of wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

*Does the Bible say that a woman should have a career –  “something to fall back on” — in case her marriage doesn’t work out or she never marries?

*Is it biblical for married couples to purposely refrain from having children?

*What place do divorced and widowed women have within the church?

*How can a 21st century woman apply the principles of Proverbs 31?

These will be the kinds of issues discussed in the Titus 2 Mentoring Online Webinars.  I will lead an interactive discussion that allows for real-time questions and follow-up questions. The emphasis will be on providing a biblical basis for addressing these important topics in an informal setting, much like meeting together over coffee. The ongoing webinar will be limited to 10 participants for each session so that there can be good interaction.  An edited version of each webinar will be available for download soon after the live session.
