Andrea Schwartz, after being active as a home educator for over 28 years, turned her attention toward mentoring women, with an emphasis on homeschooling mothers. She began the Chalcedon Teacher Training Institute, a mentorship/study program that serves women on three continents to enhance their ability to educate and disciple their children.
The teaching of her three, now-grown and graduated children, coupled with extensive experience of tutoring, coaching, and counseling, makes her a great choice for women seeking a mentor. She excels in helping women become grounded in the Christian faith, learning Biblical law, and actively applying it in their lives.
Andrea has authored four books dealing with homeschooling, biblical womanhood, and the family. She is a regular contributor to the Chalcedon magazine, Faith for All of Life, and is the director of the Chalcedon Teacher Training Institute. She also maintains a regular presence on facebook (The Homeschool Life with Andrea Schwartz).
Andrea is a seasoned woman of faith and a sought-after guest lecturer for Christian schools, homeschooling support groups, introductory seminars on homeschooling, and various women’s groups. She is very acccessible and available for individual consultation. She has been married for 36 years and is the proud grandmother of three.
